Aeroméxico

Aeroméxico is Mexico's global airline uniting Mexico with national and international destinations, under a network model of connection routes (hub-and-spoke). Currently, our system concentrates the majority of operations in Mexico City (MEX). We are also a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance. Aeroméxico began 88 years ago with its first flight between Mexico City and Acapulco on September 14, 1934. Today we have more than 130 aircraft that allow us to operate more than 500 daily flights to more than 80 destinations in Mexico, North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and Asia.

Team Winged Axolotls

212 employees from 37 departments in Aeroméxico worked as a single team in planning and operating sustainable flights from Mexico City to Vancouver and Amsterdam. Under the name of Winged Axolotls, we inspire the leaders of each department to go the extra kilometer to generate greener aviation. Each department appointed a sustainable leader who carried out the management of the initiatives in their areas. The Axolotls represent movement and life in the Aztec culture, for Aeroméxico, they represent the constant change towards sustainability that will allow future generations to have a safe and harmonious planet and society. Under this philosophy, the team designed and built solutions to fly towards a better future.
